Details
Clairefontaine Ingres' cotton papers with ribbed surfaces are produced using traditional methods, either bleached or sinewoven. These papers are particularly suitable for dry techniques such as pastels, charcoal and graphite drawings.
They can also be used to make dyeable prints, invitations and greeting cards.
The special surface allows the artist to create even very detailed and intricate works.
INGRES paper is the brainchild of the French artist J. A. D. Ingres.
