Turner Acryl Gouache are opaque paints which dry quickly to a matte finish. Manufactured in Japan, they are colored with extremely finely-ground pigment and have a fluid consistency which enables an even spread of uniform color across large areas. They can be used with regular acrylic mediums (such as Golden mediums) and thinned with water. Once dry, they are water-resistant, which means they can be applied in multiple layers without bleeding.
Turner's Japanesque colours have a slightly coarse texture like traditional Japanese paints, and dry quickly to a matte finish. Once dry, they are water-resistant, which means they can be applied in multiple layers without bleeding. When used with mediums, they can be used on almost any surface, including rock, metal, glass, paper, canvas and wood.
