Cobalt siccative is the best drying catalyst that can be prepared for oil painting and contains 1.5% cobalt in high concentration.
For faster drying, add 5 ml of this siccative to 1 liter of pure linseed oil, so the contents of a 100 ml bottle are sufficient for 20 liters of linseed oil. For normal use, add only a few drops at a time. With all siccatives, using larger amounts will have the opposite effect: the top coat will dry very quickly and form a solid film, making it difficult for the paint to dry underneath.
